In an article we shared two days ago, we talked about an annoying error on the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. The best phone in the new series Samsung announced about two months ago, S20 Ultra was showing the screen in a green tone to some users. This annoying error that appeared on the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra also fueled the long-standing Exynos processor discussions about Samsung. Because the last error on the S20 Ultra was seen only on the Exynos processor models of the phone. Today, a statement has been made by Samsung about this error. The update will be released as soon as possible: According to Samsung’s statement on its community page, the company will release a software update to fix this error on the Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones as soon as possible. According to the announcement made, this problem will disappear and will never appear again. However, it is not yet clear when the update will arrive. The green tone error on the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra began to appear after the April security update, which was released recently and also brought improvements to the camera. With the update, Samsung eliminated the most criticized autofocus problem of the device, but it paved the way for the emergence of a new error, the green tone error. The annoying error seen on Samsung’s flagship starts to show itself when users using the Exynos 990 model bring the device’s screen to a refresh rate of 120 Hz and the screen brightness is reduced below 30%. The fact that the problem is seen and reported only on Exynos processor models also increases Exynos pressure on Samsung. In an article we shared recently, we talked about the problems and complaints that occurred in the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with Exynos 990. Accordingly, some users complained about poor performance due to overheating even when the phone did not take heavy action. We will see if Samsung will evaluate the complaints about Exynos in the coming times.
