— DJI (@DJIGlobal) April 15, 2020 Even with the delay for the event, it is already possible to have an idea of what is coming. The event teaser features the phrase “Level up” and the silhouette of a drone, which appears to have a compact body and four green lights at its top. DJI recently registered with the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and leaked the existence of Mavic Air 2. In addition, the company also listed a new drone control on the same agency. The documentation came shortly after photos of an alleged new quadcopter from the company also appeared on the web. Apparently, the new compact drone should be the protagonist of the April 27 event. So far, speculation about the components present in the Mavic Air 2 is still scarce, but according to the DroneDJ website we can expect the product to hit the market with a bigger battery than the one in its predecessor, launched in 2018.
